Bogwood – a natural sculpture

This highly unusual piece of Bogwood was found in a riverbed in Indonesia and is over 5,000 years old. It has a smooth and silky texture as a result of stones eroding its surface continually over time.

A rare timber, unique in colour and texture, and as hard as stone – a real treasure. 

Measuring 12 feet by 7 feet, this is one of the largest examples found and would make a fantastic centrepiece for a corporate head-office atrium or hotel lobby.
